Drop Camps
7-day package
You're your own scout, guide, cook, and will quarter your harvest.
We provide tents, stove, cooking utensils, outhouse and firewood.
We provide pack-in, pack-out of you, your harvested animals and your equipment. This is an 8-10 mile ride horseback.
Guided Hunts
7-day package
Our guided hunts provided you a well-furnished camp, onsite camp cook, firewood, 2-1 hunters per guide, horse/mules to ride and a pack animal to travel further and traverse terrain more accessible than you could on foot. 2-3 hot meals a day and a sack lunch. Our guides are experienced (5+ years) and our number one priority is your experience.

These schools provide everything except your personal gear and your enthusiasm. We feed you, provide lodging in our base camp have experienced mountain horses and mules and the best guides in the business who love to teach. After completing a course you could have the following skills and knowledge, depending on the course:
- Leadership
- Sharpened mind and character
- Horse and mule basics
- Anatomy
- Grooming
- Wilderness Laws, values and ethics
- Safety around stock
- How to choose and use pack stock, tack, and equipment
- Hitches and knots
- First Aid / Emergency shoeing
- Planning and making pack loads
- Planning a pack trip
- Camping with stock
- Recognizing problems on the trail before they happen
- Dealing with trail hazards and obstacles
- Health, safety and welfare of you and your stock
- Basic wilderness skills and survival
- How to deal with emergencies
- Dutch oven cooking
Classes are conducted during the day. Each evening is free time to enjoy photography, art, fly fishing, riding, hiking, or just enjoying nature by the campfire.
Classes are limited to 15 students.
